Job Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Junior Product Manager / Product Analyst to join our product team. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who thrives on turning business needs into clear, actionable requirements and successfully driving development projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the key bridge between stakeholders and the engineering team, with a primary focus on *writing high-quality requirements* and *managing dev projects* end-to-end. This is a hands-on execution role with strong emphasis on documentation, project coordination, and cross-functional delivery rather than high-level strategy.
Note: you should expect to make extensive use of AI in this role. We're looking for a future AI-supercharged product manager.
What you'll work on:
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user research.
- Write clear, comprehensive *Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)*, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
- Track project timelines, risks, dependencies, and blockers; provide regular status updates and escalate issues proactively.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinate feedback, and support successful feature launches.
- Perform light data analysis and competitive research to validate requirements and measure post-launch impact.
- Contribute to the broader product roadmap and continuously improve documentation and delivery processes.
Qualifications Required
- 1–3 years of experience in product management, product analysis, business analysis, project management, or a similar role (tech/SaaS experience strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of writing clear, detailed requirements and user stories that drive successful development outcomes.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Hands-on experience with project management and documentation tools (primarily Github and Notion).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Required Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across functions.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations and adapting quickly.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, databases, basic UI/UX principles).
- Experience with analytics tools (Mixpanel, New Relic) and design/wireframing tools (Figma).
- Agile certifications (CSPO, PSM, etc.).
- Background in events.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary + equity (if applicable)
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Clear growth path into a full Product Manager role
- Collaborative, supportive team culture with real ownership over your projects
- Opportunity to make a direct impact on product delivery and quality
- Ability to handle growth, intense requirements, and fixed date events ;)
